Public Relations by Claudette Milner

My last tour event was

in New Port Richey Florida at an author-thon to raise money for the Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation. There I met many authors. I arrived on Thursday and was able to meet with the CEO of WOW Rebecca Buckley. I spent Friday speaking to students at a catholic elementary school and interviewing with Megan Hussey of the Pasco County Newspaper. The author-thon was two days. There were many authors that spoke about their individual charities. Each author was able to sign books. The author-thon was sponsored by Waldenbooks and they supplied the books and sold them. It was a wonderful event and I look forward to the next Author-thon.
