Laura Caldwell is a trial
lawyer turned author. Laura's first novel, Burning the Map, was selected by Barnes & Noble.com as one of "The Best of 2002". Her second was called "a page-turner" by the Chicago Tribune and received a starred review from Booklist. After writing two more chick-lit novels, Laura began writing suspense and thrillers. Mystery Scene labeled her debut mystery (Look Closely) "an excellent suspenser that kept me turning all night." The Chicago Sun-Times called The Rome Affair “her most exciting book yet”. The Good Liar, an international thriller, will be released in January 2008. Laura is an Adjunct Professor of Law at Loyola University Chicago and a freelance magazine writer.
