George Witte

George Witte is the author
of two collections of poems: Deniability (Orchises Press, January 2009) and The Apparitioners (Three Rail Press, 2005). Recent work has been published in New York Quarterly, Nimrod, Ploughshares, Prairie Schooner, Smartish Pace, Virginia Quarterly Review, and in the 2007 Best American Poetry anthology. A native of Madison, New Jersey, he works as the editor in chief of St. Martin’s Press, and lives with his wife and their two daughters in Ridgewood, New Jersey.
