A. D. Adams has compiled
a long list of professional and personal
achievements since he first earned a Bachelor of Technology Degree,
in Mechanical Engineering, from the University of Akron. His
career-related accomplishments include rubber scientist, finite
element engineer, computer system administrator, software engineer,
patent holder, draftsman, and designer. After working for Babcock
and Wilcox and the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, A. D. currently works for Veyance Technologies, Inc.
In his spare time, A. D. has found the time to pen two novels, edit
an anthology, be active in the Akron Manuscript Club, craft wood art
and design the house where he presently resides with his wife
Valentina. His mystery novel, entitled “Death on Lake Ice”, was
called a “solid murder mystery” by the Akron Beacon Journal. His
writing range is apparent in the fact that his other novel is not a
mystery, but a fantasy entitled “The Dragon Healer of Tone”. A. D.
is also the editor and a contributor to “Wordspinners of the Akron
Manuscript Club”, an anthology by fourteen members of the Akron
Manuscript Club. A. D.’s wood art has taken various forms from
wall-hangings to lathe-turned Christmas ornaments.
